Brighton vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Premier League Predictions
Brighton will host Tottenham Hotspur on Match Day 21 in the Premier League with both sides hoping to bounce back to winning ways after dropping points in their last outings. The home team goes to this game placed 17th with 18 points and Tottenham are sixth with 33 points. Brighton are unbeaten in three matches ahead of this but in their last 21, they have just three outright wins. They have failed to score in two of their last six matches and do not score a lot; in the last 15 matches they have managed two or more goals in just four. In the league, Brighton have failed to score in three of the last five matches and have just one win in 11 league games. The team has not won a league game at home this season. The 0-0 draw with Fulham in their last game pushed the winless run at home in the league to 14 matches. Brighton’s only win in 19 home matches in the league was in June, as they beat Arsenal 2-1.
Tottenham have three wins in their last five matches but head here straight from a home loss to Liverpool. It got worse for Spurs as key man Harry Kane was injured in the game and the manager, Jose Mourinho later confirmed he will be out for some weeks. The loss to Liverpool was Spurs’ first in nine matches and left them with just three clean sheets in 12 matches. Four of Spurs’ last five matches have yielded over 2.5 goals and they have failed to score in just one of the last 15 matches. In the last seven league matches, Spurs have suffered three losses – against Leicester City and twice against Liverpool. They have one win in five away league matches and have scored more than one goal in just one of seven away league matches.

Our Brighton vs Tottenham Prediction
With Harry Kane injured, Spurs will struggle a bit, looking at his contribution in the season. They haven’t done very well away from home, though they shouldn’t be troubled by Brighton, who have also been poor at home. Spurs are favorites but will be short in attack. Back them for a 1-0 win.
