Brighton vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu | in Premier League Predictions
Spurs have been a pale shadow of the team that troubled sides in the Premier League in the previous seasons and this season is already proving difficult for the Londonors with their main striker, Harry Kane expeienceing a goal drought while the team has a very leaky defence. They did not make any signings in the summer and they seem to be paying the price, while the team seems to be in total disarray, going by the lethragic performances they have put in in the last few matches. They take on a Brighton side with a reputation for comebacks in the last few matches, having battled from losing positions to pick points in 2 - 2 draws in their last two matches. Their only win this term has come over Manchester United. Spurs' last win was also against Manchester United, having earlier beaten Fulham and Newcastle before their season took a wrong turn. They have picked just one clean sheet this season and facing Brighton's Glen Murray, who has netted four goals in the league already, will prove to be a massive test. They have however scored in all their matches in the season and they get to face a Brighton side that has also struggled defensively, with no clean sheet so far in the season, or in their last 13 matches. Brighton, however, are unbeaten in five Premier League games at home, and have lost just once in the last nine.

Our Brighton vs Tottenham Prediction
Both sides have had rough patches in the season but Spurs seem to be having the bigger issues ahead of this game. They are really leaking in defence and the loss to Inter Milan has really exposed them, coming from earlier defeats to Liverpool and Watford. They face an improving Brighton side with a good run at home and will be keen to extend their good run at home, having lost just once in the last nine. Spurs have beaten Brighton in four of the last five meetings and they are unbeaten in the five, while the most recent ended in a 1-1 draw. In the last five, both sides have scored in three and going by their defensive record in this clash, we expect goals. A scoring draw seems the more likely result here.
