They have three clean sheets and two wins in their last five home league matches but they will be hoping for a first win over Southampton in six meetings, having failed in the last five. Southampton on the other hand, have two wins in their last seven matches and they have lost three of the last five so we can’t say they head to this game on a very good footing. Away from home, they have two straight losses going to this game and just two wins in 16 matches. A five game unbeaten run over Brighton is what they will cling on however. In 21 meetings between the two sides, Brighton have four wins and Southampton nine.
