These two sides meet in a much anticipated South coast derby. Both teams come into the game on the back of a league win last weekend. Brighton and Hove Albion will be delighted at their current 10th place but are still only three points above the drop zone. Home form has been strong for them this season and they have won three of their last four home league and cup games and their only defeat was home to Manchester City on the opening day of the season. Four of their last five games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them and four of the last five home games have ended that way too. Southampton had a late winner against West Brom at the weekend to move up to 10th place in the table a point clear of Brighton. That's their second straight league win but of their nine league games this season, six have been played at home. Away form has seen the Saints win one, draw one and lose one scoring twice and conceding twice. Six of their last eight games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. This will be a hectic game but Southampton do keep it tight at the back and the two teams often struggle for goals, go for under 2.5 goals in this match.
