Brighton vs Middlesbrough Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Brighton lost their place at the top of the Championship after being held to a draw at QPR on Tuesday. The same night Middlesbrough got a hard earned win over Burnley at home to take over top spot. Brighton are only behind their opponents on goal difference and two clear of Derby in third. The south coast side are now unbeaten in the first 21 league games of the season and have won their last three at home. They have conceded two goals in each of their last three league matches and both teams have scored in their last six league matches. That draw at QPR was their 10th in 21 league games, a fact that might cost them in the long run. Middlesbrough have lost four league games this season but haven't conceded in their last five league games and seven of their last eight but have only scored seven goals in their last seven league games so this could be a tight game.  They are on a five game unbeaten run in the league but have lost three away league games this season. Both sides are in form so I see this as a draw and if Derby can win at Ipswich that would take them to the top.
