Brighton vs Liverpool Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Daniel Ngulu in Premier League Predictions
Brighton are not the best of opponents to face when playing at home and after troubling a number of big names at their turf, Liverpool will be well aware of what awaits them at the AMEX Community Stadium. They sure have read their script well by now, after the two away losses in their last two matches. While Liverpool are licking wounds from two straight losses, Brighton heads to this match on a four game unbeaten run and also enjoying their game. Liverpool will be banking heavily on their lethal forward line of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane who have scored 29 of their 49 league goals and we don’t expect that they will be affected by the FA Cup exit. Brighton have beaten Manchester United here and have drawn with Leicester City and Arsenal. Most recently they beat Everton and will be hoping to pull another shock. Brighton have five wins and two losses in their 10 league matches played at home this season. They have scored in each of their home match in the league this season. Liverpool, on the other hand, have managed just five clean sheets in the last 15 away matches across all competitions this season while they have scored in each of their away matches in the league this season. Brighton’s only win over Liverpool came in 1982. Liverpool have beaten them in each of the last five meetings and are unbeaten against Brighton in the last seven meetings, six being wins. In 13 meetings, Liverpool have picked nine wins and Brighton one.

Our Brighton vs Liverpool Prediction
Brighton have troubled giants at their backyard and there is no doubt they will have the same motivation here, though they have posted a poor run against Liverpool over the years. To get past Liverpool, they will have to devise a way of silencing the Reds’ front three, which is in itself a tough job. The fact that Liverpool have not enjoyed good fortunes in the year and especially away from home in the last two matches should give Brighton hope. We expect them to battle to a draw here.
