Brighton and Hove Albion start the weekend in 12th place in the English Premier League. That sounds a healthy position to be in but after two straight defeats, the South Coast team are only six points above the relegation zone. Those defeats were both away from home where Brighton continue to have major problems with only four points from seven games. Home form is a lot better with ten points from five games and only Tottenham have been able to beat them at the AMEX Stadium. Their last two home league games have both been won 1-0 but before that they had conceded twice in each of their first three home league games of the season.

If Brighton are to keep a third straight home clean sheet, they will have to do so against a Leicester City side that had scored in every league game until a goalless draw with Burnley. They are tenth in the table and three points above their opponents. City have gone three league games without defeat (drawing two of them) but only have one win in the last five. Six away league games have seen them win three and draw three with two wins in the last three. They tend to beat the average sides in the league and lose to the top sides. Brighton fit into the former category and Leicester can get a narrow win in this match.
