Sixth placed Brighton and Hove Albion host Fulham who are only a place below them in the Premier League table. Brighton are ahead of the Londoners on goal difference but have two games in hand. Albion are only six points adrift of fourth place but have played a match less than Newcastle United. Brighton are unbeaten in their last seven league and cup games but were held to a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace last weekend. The Seagulls have won five of their ten home league games this season. The last two have both been won to nil and that includes a 3-0 victory over Liverpool, who they also beat at the Amex Stadium in the FA Cup.

Fulham will be delighted at being in the position they are in. After two previous immediate returns to the Championship, they find themselves with 35 points so far and 17 points clear of the relegation zone. They have played 23 league games but there’s still a chance of European football and they could only have dreamed about that at the start of the season. Last weekend saw them beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 at home. That followed a 3-2 away win over Sunderland in the FA Cup. They were welcome wins after a dip in form that saw them go four league and cup games without a win. Away form has seen them win four times this season in the Premier League but lose five. The last two on the road have produced just one point with no goal scored. A bet on Brighton winning is our suggested wager.
