Brighton face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, just a few months after the two teams shared a point apiece following a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. Brighton will be well aware of how Everton can spoil their better form of late. Last season, the Toffees came into the game against the Seagulls massive underdogs in the game against an in-form Brighton and came away with a stunning 5-1 win, a result which played a huge part in Everton beating the drop last season. However, the 10-point penalty deduction has hit the Toffees hard this season and it took the 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace on Monday to move Everton out of the drop zone. Sean Dyche will know his side has a good record against Brighton away from home in particular so he will certainly feel his side are good enough to get something here, despite losing three of their last four on the road. 

Seventh placed Brighton have lost just one game at home this season, but they have only won six, drawing five and Brighton games this season average 3.52 goals the third highest in the division, that is a goal more than Everton games which average just 2.40 goals a game, comfortably the fewest of all Premier League teams. Recent games have seen plenty of goals involving Brighton, including two five goal hauls against Sheffield United, but they did also ship four goals away to Luton Town in a recent defeat. Manager Roberto de Zerbi has overseen a ten-game unbeaten streak at home in the league, but he knows that will be put to the test here against an opponent that has a very good away record against Brighton with two wins and a draw in Everton's last three trips to the AMEX Stadium.
