Brighton vs Everton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Nella Wagah | in Premier League Predictions
Brighton are enjoying a really good start to the season and after two opening wins, will be looking to take advantage of playing at home when they welcome Everton in East Sussex. Two points separate the two going to this game; fourth placed Brighton on six points and seventh placed Everton having four points. Brighton are coming from a League Cup win over Cardiff City, the 2-0 victory adding to two wins in the league. They have now scored two in each of the last three opening matches of the season. In the last league game, they beat Watford 2-0 making it six games in seven that they’ve managed to score. Brighton are unbeaten in their last six home matches in the league and have kept four clan sheets in that run. They’ve failed to score in just one of their last eight home league matches and will be hoping that Neal Maupay keeps his scoring form after netting in both opening league matches.
Everton labored through their 2-1 win over Huddersfield, finishing with 10 men as they were pushed by their lower tier opponents. They did in the end hold on to their unbeaten start to the season and will be hoping to extend the same against Brighton. In their three matches so far, they have two wins, and scored two in each but not a clean sheet yet. In their last league game they twice took the lead but Leeds United pulled back twice to register a 2-2 draw. That was away from home, and while it is at home that they had issues last season, it seems their away run is also getting problematic. Everton are winless in the last three league matches away from home and conceded seven goals in the last two.

Our Brighton vs Everton Prediction
Both these sides have had good starts to the season but Brighton have had more assured performances and are even more reassuring at home. Meanwhile, Everton are struggling to keep clean sheets, and that could come to their detriment here. They’ve struggled a bit in away league matches too and despite the quality of their players, will be underdogs here. Go for a Brighton win.
