Brighton vs Derby Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

It's tight at the top of the Championship with Brighton and Hove Albion, Middlesbrough and Burnley chasing the two automatic promotion spots. Middlesbrough could only draw at Birmingham on Friday meaning both Brighton and Burnley are a point behind Boro with a game in hand and just two to play in the season. Brighton can go top with a win here as Burnley don't kick off till later on Monday. The south coast side travel to Middlesbrough on the last day of the season so a win over Derby means they just have to avoid defeat in that final game to get straight into the Premier League. They are in fantastic form at present with five straight league wins and 12 goals in the last three - nine in the last two at home. Brighton are unbeaten in their last 12 league games not losing since February and at home are unbeaten in their last nine. Derby won't be pushovers though, they are fifth in the table and already qualified for the play-offs. They are unbeaten in their last six league matches winning five and drawing one. Away from home they have won their last two but those games were against relegated Charlton and struggling Bristol City. Before those two games they had gone four away games without a win losing three of them. I think Brighton can get the win here and put themselves in prime position for promotion.
