Burnley keep on confounding the critics and start the weekend in sixth place in the Premier League. A title challenge is out of the question but qualification for European competition next season is a possiblity. They were in the top four for 24 hours after beating Stoke City 1-0 at home on Tuesday. After Wednesday's games they dropped down two places but have won two of their last three league games. 17 league matches this season for Burnley have only produced 28 goals but it's results and points that count at the end of the day. Away from home, Burnley have won two of their last three and have four victories on the road this season. Five of their last seven away games have seen under 2.5 goals scored and this looks like being another low-scoring encounter. Brighton and Hove Albion made a good start to their first ever Premier League season but the past few weeks have seen them start to slide down the table. They start the weekend in 13th place and only three points above the relegation zone. Brighton have gone six league games without a win and their only goal was a Glenn Murray penalty against Liverpool. Home form had been good early in the season but they have failed to win any of their last five home league matches. 10 of their last 13 league and cup games have seen under 2.5 goals scored, so it's no suprise that the tip here is to go for under 2.5 goals in this match.
