Brighton vs Burnley Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Brighton and Hove Albion bid to make it two successive Premier League wins in a row. They start the weekend in eigth place and host Burnley who are 19th in the Premiier League. The Seagulls came from behind to beat Brentford 2-1 at home on Wednesday evening. That took them to within five points of the final Champions League qualifying position. It was a welcome home win in the Premier League for Brighton whose European form had been better than their domestic results until recently. They had drawn three successive home league games before getting the midweek win over Brentford. That made it two wins from their last three Premier League fixtures after previously beating Nottingham Forest. Overall, home league form this season has seen Albion win four games, draw three and only be beaten by West Ham United in late August. Avoiding defeat this weekend will take their unbeaten home league run to six games.

Burnley won at home against Sheffield United last weekend but weren't able to build on that in midweek. They lost 1-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers to remain in the bottom three of the Premier League. The Clarets are only two points from safety (three if Everton beat Newcastle on Thursday) and that's not too bad a situation after a disappointing start to the new season. Away league form has produced four points from their seven games. The only win came at Luton Town with another point earned at Nottingham Forest. Since that solitary win at Luton, Burnley have lost four successive Premier League games, scoring just twice but conceding nine. We back Brighton to get another win this weekend.
