Brighton vs Arsenal Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This match has been postponed
Arsenal have not had it easy against Brighton in recent times, but they have a chance to change that away at The American Express Community Stadium this Saturday. Arsenal go to this clash placed ninth on the table with 40 points while Brighton are 15th on 29 points. Arsenal had their match against Manchester City in midweek postponed over COVID-19 fears but the weekend clash stands. Brighton are two points above the relegation region and are stuck in a congested bottom – six, with five points separating them from 15th placed Southampton. They know just how crucial a win will be here, especially after their current run of 10 winless matches. With just one win in 15 matches, the confidence levels have really dipped at Brighton and further, they have failed to score in their last two matches. It hasn’t been any easier at home; Brighton have no win in five home matches and have conceded in each of these, though not by more than a goal. Brighton have played 14 league matches at home this season, and have won just four. Of the home league matches, only one win has come from the last eight while they have no win in their last four home league matches. They beat Arsenal away from home in the first leg meeting and will be keen on a double, having not lost to Arsenal in the last four meetings.
On the other hand, Arsenal have lost just once in their last 13 matches – against Olympiacos in the Europa League. They are on a good run and will hope this plays out against a side they have failed to beat in their last four meetings. Arsenal have won their last two matches after the loss to Olympiacos, and with clean sheets, a sign of their improving defensive discipline. Pablo Mari has started the last two matches in defence and will take confidence in the two clean sheets the team has kept as Arsenal seeks to improve in that department. With four wins in the last five matches, Arsenal will look at Brighton as a beatable side in this game. They have also been able to address one of their biggest shortcomings – avoiding away defeats. In their last 11 away matches, The Gunners have no loss though most have been draws. They have three wins in their last four away matches and have not conceded a goal in the last three away matches. In the Premier League though, Arsenal have five draws and one win in the last six. They have drawn each of the last five away league matches.

Our Brighton vs Arsenal Prediction
Arsenal have won four of their last five matches and after the postponement of their match against Manchester City, they will go to this game well rested. They have not done well against Brighton in recent meetings but they will meet a side low on confidence after going winless in 10 matches. Though Arsenal have not won many away matches in the league, they have a fairly good away run across all competitions. Looking at Brighton’s form, and placed against Arsenal’s improving defensive performance, we feel a 1-0 win for Arsenal could pass here.
