Brest vs PSG Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

The lunchtime kickoff in Ligue 1 this Sunday will see Brest taking on PSG at  Stade Francis-Le Ble. The hosts are currently in fifth place in the league standings, while the visitors are third. After a 14th-placed finish last season, Brest began the current campaign promisingly. They won four of their first six league matches, losing only to Marseille in that time. However, after losing 1-0 to Lille last weekend, The Pirates are now on a three-match winless run from either side of the international break. At home, though, Brest are unbeaten this season, with two wins and two draws in four matches. The hosts lost 2-1 at this venue against this opponent last season and have failed to beat them in their last 13 Ligue 1 matches. Unsurprisingly, they are the underdogs in this one. 

Meanwhile, PSG made an uncharacteristically sloppy start to the season, drawing their first two matches against Lorient and Toulouse. They also dropped points at home to Nice and Clermont Foot last month. That saw them drop to fifth in the league, but they have since begun the climb back up. The Parisians returned from the international break with a solid 3-0 win over Strasbourg, which extended their recent league run to four matches unbeaten, including three victories. The visitors are unbeaten in four away matches this season and last lost a league match on the road back at the start of February this year. PSG have outscored this opponent 29-8 during their 13-match unbeaten run.
