Paris Saint-Germain will look to take a step closer to securing their eleventh Ligue 1 title when they travel to Stade Francis-Le Ble to take on Brest on Saturday night. The mood around the visitor's camp may be a little downbeat coming into this one as some may still be coming to terms with their departure from the Champions League in midweek after failing to score a single goal against Bayern Munich over both legs in the round of 16, which they eventually lost 3-0. However, their league form has been much better, winning five of their last six, the most recent coming last weekend 4-2 over Nantes. On the road this season, PSG has won nine, drawn one, and lost three of their 13 matches so far. PSG has a far better record in this fixture, unbeaten in their last 12 meetings, eleven of which were wins. With their focus turning back to domestic competition, PSG will see this as a perfect opportunity to bounce back and put their Champions League disappointment behind them.

Brest is in need of a few results to go their way, with just 12 matches remaining in the season. The hosts are uncomfortably close to the relegation zone, in 15th place with 23 points after 26 matches, just one point above Auxerre and the drop. Brest pulled off a much-needed 1-0 win in their last match over Strasbourg, which brought a five-match winless run to an end (D2, L3). Their home form this season has been their major downfall, recording just two wins at Stade Francis-Le Ble in 12 matches, along with five draws and five losses. It’s going to be a difficult match for the hosts, but they will be hoping that their opponent's midweek disappointment will still be weighing on them and will look to take advantage of any opportunities afforded to them.
