Defending Belarus Premier League champions Dinamo Brest are tenth after three games of the new season. They look for their second league win, when hosting Isloch Minsk who are two points ahead of them in sixth. Brest had to come from behind in their league opener. They trailed newly promoted Smolevichi 1-0 before grabbing a second-half equalizer. Their next game produced their only league win so far this season, a 1-0 win at FC Slutsk. However, their unbeaten record was lost when losing 2-1 at home to Slavia Mozyr rbefore returning to winning ways in the first leg of the Belarus Cup semi-final. They got a 2-0 home win over cup holders Shakhtyor, so will be confident of reaching the final after the second leg is played. Home league form has been good, the loss to Slavia (who they could meet in the Belarus Cup Final) ended a run of nine at home without defeat.
Isloch Minsk will want some revenge for their last trip to Brest. That resulted in a 5-1 loss but they have made a confident start to the new season, though all three games have been played at home. Their first two league games were both won, with 1-0 victories over Neman Grodno and Smolevichi. That good start came to a halt though when being beaten 3-2 at home by FC Slutsk. Isloch went 1-0 down early on but fought back to lead 2-1 before Slutsk scored two late goals to inflict a first league defeat of the season on Isloch. Away form isn't great with no wins in their last five (including friendlies), not scoring in three of them. Brest will want to avoid a gap opening up between them and the sides at the top. Go for them to get a home win here.
