Belarussian side Dinamo Brest and Kazakhstan’s Astana will face off in one of the matches scheduled for the first qualifying round of the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League this Tuesday. For Astana, this will be the first match since lockdown in March while for Dinamo Brest it has been business as usual; the Belarus league was not stopped as other leagues got suspended due to the spread of coronavirus. It has not been rosy though in their recent matches; they go to this clash on the back of just one win, and three losses in their last five matches. Dinamo Brest have kept only one clean sheet and failed to score in three of the last five matches. Their form at home has however been great in recent matches; they have three straight wins there, and four wins in their last five home games. They have four wins in their last 11 away matches and though they are more experienced in the Champions League than Dinamo Brest, they haven’t won a lot of matches there. Astana have played mostly in the qualification stages of the Champions League and in the last five matches in the competition, they have managed just one win and three losses, while failing to score in three. Astana have 15 away matches in the Champions league under their belts dating back to 2015, and have won just two of these. They go to this clash with two straight away losses in the Champions League and have failed to score in four of their last six away matches in the competition.
