Both clubs had big wins in midweek and will want to build on that in this Premier League game. Brentford are ninth in the table with Nottingham Forest 17th ahead of the Thursday night fixtures. Brentford won 2-0 at Chelsea on Wednesday but still six points behind the seventh place that may take a side into European competition next season. They have only five games remaining though and three are against teams higher in the table than them. The win at woeful Chelsea was a welcome one though as it ended a run of six games without a win. Home form this season has seen Brentford lose just twice with seven wins and the same number of draws. Only one of the last five home Premier League games have been won with all of them seeing both teams score. That stat has come up in all but two of the last ten Brentford home leaue fixtures.

Nottingham Forest had an excellent 3-1 home win over Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday. That took them out of the bottom three but they'll go back into the relegation zone if Everton beat Newastle on Thursday. It's their home form that is keeping Forest alive because their away record is the worst in the Premier League with just six points from 16 games. Just seven goals have been scored but they have found the next in three of their last four away league matches with four scored. A bet on both teams to score is our suggested wager.
