Brentford have had a season of two halves and the current one is rather disappointing. They made a good start to the season and were as high as second at one stage. They won four of their first seven league games but since then have just two out of 18 league matches. Things have gone downhill since Dean Smith left the club to become manager of Aston Villa with two wins in 13 and rather than thinking of promotion, they are in a relegation battle. They had lost four home games out of five before beating relegation-threatened Bolton Wanderers 1-0 on December 22.
Norwich City are second in the Championship and two points clear of West Bromwich Albion in third. They had been unbeaten in their last 12 league games before losing 4-3 at home to Derby County. Their last two games have seen 13 goals scored and plenty of drama. They had to come from 3-0 down with 16 minutes to go to rescue a point against Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day. It was the exact reverse on Saturday as they blew a 2-0 and 3-2 lead before losing 4-3 at home to Derby County. Away form has seen Norwich unbeaten in their last ten matches and they can increase that to 11 with an away win here.

Brentford's form has been poor since October and they are only five points above the relegation zone. Home form has been terrible of late until a win over fellow strugglers Bolton Wanderers. Norwich City have had two barnstorming games over the festive period with 13 goals in two games and staying til the end of a game is a good idea with the Canaries with late goals galore. They need to bounce back from the loss to Derby but are strong away and can get the three points here.
