Brentford - Manchester City: Form Analysis
Brentford have only earned four points from their last five Premier League games. Add on a home loss to Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup and these are worrying times for the Bees. They have been excellent at home this season but come into this match hoping to avoid a fourth successive defeat.
Before the FA Cup defeat, Brentford had been beaten at home in the Premier League by Nottingham Forest and Arsenal, conceding five goals. Their last home league win was at the start of December when they beat Newcastle United 4-2. That was their seventh home league win of the season.
City look to be on their way back to form.
Manchester City look to be getting over their bad patch. They are unbeaten in their last four games, winning the last three. The goals are flowing again and not just past Salford City. The Blues scored six at home to West Ham and away at Leicester.
Only four away league games have been won this season and the same number lost. Seven of the last nine on the road have seen both teams score.

Manchester City made plenty of changes for their FA Cup tie against Salford City and still won 8-0. The big guns will make their return to the side for this Premier League trip to Brentford. Definiitely out though are Ruben Dias, Oscar Bobb (though he has resumed training), Rodri and John Stones.
It's unlikely that Kyle Walker will be in the side after he asked for a transfer. Rico Lewis is expected to be right-back for this fixture.
