Brentford look to continue their good run in the Premier League. At the time of writing this preview they are ninth in the table and host Bournemouth who are down in 16th place. The Bees are unbeaten in their last six league games and that includes winning at Manchester City and a home victory over Liverpool in their most recent fixture. They are in with a chance of securing European football next season if they can keep up this level of form. Eight league games have been drawn this season, the joint highest total with Newcastle. If a few of those had been converted into wins, Brentford would be a top six club. Home form has seen them suffer only one league defeat. That was inflicted on them by too of the table Arsenal. Their other eight home league games have produced four wins and the same number of draws. They are unbeaten in their last five at home in the Premier League. Two have been won and three drawn, however all but one of those games were against sides currently in the top eight.

Bournemouth are only a point above the relegation zone. An immediate return to the Championship has to be a prospect even under their new American owner. Last week they lost 4-2 at home to Championship leaders Burnley in the FA Cup third round. That was their fifth consecutive league and cup games defeat with at least two goals conceded in all but one of them. Conceding just one goal in this match will take them to the 40 mark for the season in the Premier League. With only 18 goals scored it's looking like a very difficult few months ahead for the Cherries. Bournemouth have failed to score in their last three league games and conceded eight goals in the process. They only have a home win over Everton in their last nine league games with seven ending in defeat. On the road, Bournemouth have two points from their last six league fixtures. Another loss looks likely here.
