Brazil will never forget how they got knocked out of the 2014 World Cup and suffered another defeat in their opening game of this qualifying campaign as they lost 2-0 to Chile.  Venezuela also got off to a bad start losing 1-0 at home to Paraguay. The Brazilians certainly won't want to be losing their first two qualifying games and I simply can't see that happening. They have only lost once to Venezuela since 1959 and beat them in the Copa America tournament during the summer. That was another disappointing tournament for Brazil with a quarter final loss to Paraguay on penalties. Venezuela didn't get as far as the knock-out stages losing out in the group stages and have gone five games without a win. They only won one of their away games in the 2014 World Cup qualifying group and that was away at bottom of the table Paraguay. Brazil should have little problem imposing their authority over Venezuela and getting their first win of the qualifying campaign.
