Bournemouth will be delighted that they are five points above the bottom three at this stage of the season. They lost to Arsenal last weekend but this should be a more even match. Going back to November each of their Premier League defeats have been to sides in the top six so this is more their level. Home form isn't too bad with eight points from the last five. They face a Stoke City side that are really having a tough time at the moment. The past couple of weeks have seen them knocked out of both cup competitions and have lost each of their last three league games 3-0. Goals in the league really are scarce with just one goal in the last four. In all they have lost four of their last five games and that's really damaging any hope they had of getting into the Europa League. This game plus the next two against Villa and Newcastle give them a good chance of climbing back into European contention but they just seem to lack confidence at present and but for Jack Butland in goal, those defeats would have been a bit heavier. I go for a Bournemouth home win here.
