Bournemouth vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Bournemouth are five points above the relegation zone but if one of the teams below them were to start a good run of form (not Villa though), that could see Bournemouth fans getting pretty nervous about their hopes of a second season in the Premier League. The draw at Watford on Saturday was another useful point for the Cherries but they aren't doing too well at home in recent weeks. There have only been three home wins all season and they have lost four of their last five home league and cup games. All that money they spent on strikers in January isn't paying too many dividends either with just one goal in their last four matches  Now they take on a Southampton side that don't concede that many goals, then again they don't score that many on the road either. Southampton blew a lead on Saturday and lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea, that took them down to seventh in  the table but they still have a good chance of getting into the Europa League again next season. Away form has seen them unbeaten in their last three league games but with only two goals scored in those matches. Southampton could well win this game but sometimes with Bournemouth you're never quite sure what they are capable of doing. I think a bet on under 2.5 goals looks a safe bet here.
