Bournemouth vs Sheffield United Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League
by Steve Ashfield | in Premier League Predictions
Bournemouth have had an eventul summer with some key signings being made. They have recruited Lloyd Kelly, Jack Stacey, Philip Billing and most recently Arnaut Danjuma with the only major departures being Tyrone Mings to Aston Villa and Lys Mousset to their opponents in this game. It's not been all good news for them though with both Ryan Gosling and David Brooks suffering injuries that will keep them out of action for the first three months of the season. The Cherries finished 14th last season and as usual, their main problem was the number of goals they conceded. 70 were let in last season and only the bottom two teams in the Premier League conceded more. Eight home league games were won but six ended in defeat. 24 of their 38 league games last season had over 2.5 goals scored in them, the second highest total in the top flight.
Sheffield United were in the third-tier of English football in the 2016/17 season. Two of the seasons played since then have seen United promoted and they are back in the Premier League for the first time since 2007. They fought off Leeds United to claim automatic promotion last season. The summer has been spent making plenty of signings though most seem to have been recruited from Championship sides, the latest being Ollie McBurnie from Swansea City. They do lack Premier League experience, particularly top strikers Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick. This should be an entertaining game and the suggested tip is to go for under 2.5 goals to be scored.

Our Bournemouth vs Sheffield United Prediction
Bournemouth games are usually entertaining ones. It's entertaining enough looking at them play and trying to work out how they can't sort their leaky defence out. They have made some good signings but have two influential players out injured. Sheffield United have made plenty of new signings but a fair few look suited to a Championship campaign rather than a Premier League one. A bet on over 2.5 goals in this game should be a winner.
