Bournemouth have had an up and down season without really getting into too much relegation trouble. They are only two places above the bottom three going into this weekend but are seven points clear with a much better goal difference than the sides below them. Just one more win should secure Premier League safety and a season next year with three south coast teams in the top flight (Bournemouth, Southampton and newly promoted Brighton and Hove Albion). That win should come in this game against Midddlesbrough to make it three wins in four games at home. Middlesbrough fans actually saw their team score on Monday, not something that happens on a regular basis. They still lost 2-1 to Arsenal making it four points from their last ten league games and still no league win all year. Away from home they have won just once and that was in their first away match of the season against bottom of the table Sunderland. Boro are six points from safety but have only won four league games all season. Are they going down? Well they still have to play Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool so it's not looking good is it? A win against Bournemouth and then Sunderland might change things but the best bet here is to go for a home win in this game.
