Manchester City can close the gap between them and leaders Liverpool to a point if winning this game. They are second in the Premier League and travel to Bournemouth who are 13th in the table. WIth Liverpool playing Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, City have a great chance of getting closer to the top of the league. The Citizens won at home against Brentford in midweek and have now gone 16 games without defeat. They have won 12 of their last 13 games in all competitions, the other being last weekend's 1-1 home draw with Chelsea. City had a few problems on their Premier League travels early on in the season. They head to Bournemouth having won their last four away league matches and have scored 11 goals in those matches. The reverse fixture saw City beat Bournemouth 6-1 last November.

Bournemouth are still waiting for their first Premier League win in 2024. Their last league victory was on Boxing Day last year when beating Fulham 3-0 at home. Since then, the Cherries have played six league matches and only earned three points. They are still eight points above the relegation zone with a game in hand so aren't in danger of the drop just yet. Three of their last four league games have been drawn but that win continues to elude them. Home form has seen Bournemouth win three out of 11 Premier League matches but score just 12 goals. They have only one point from the last two at home and we tip City to win this.
