Bournemouth host Luton Town on Wednesday night this week (7.30pm kick off) with both teams desperately seeking points to improve their situation in the lower eschelons of the table. The home side currently rank 13th in the table but have played a game fewer (27) compared to most other teams in the EPL. The Cherries have now gone two games unbeaten, beating Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor and following that with a come-from-behind 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at the Vitality Stadium this weekend. The Cherries had 32 shots on goal in that game, but still needed a 91st minute equalizer to snatch a point. Andoni Iraola's team have got their positive results in streaks of games this season (one run seeing them win 7 and draw 1 of 9 games) and that win at Burnley, followed by the draw at the weekend suggests that they could be starting on another run of picking up points. 

Rob Edwards' Luton Town have won just five games this season, but they have won fans due to their attacking style of play and never-say-die spirit. The latter of has seen them secure several vital points late on in games, as they did on Saturday against Crystal Palace when scoring in the 96th minute through Cauley Woodrow to make it 1-1. Midfielder Ross Barkley's form has been a highlight of their season so far, but the fact remains that defensively, only Sheffield United and Burnley have conceded more goals than the Hatters. Away from home, only the bottom of the table Blades (32) have conceded more than Luton's 30 goals. They do tend to create chances, and score in games, but their big issue this season has been keeping them out at the opposite end of the pitch.
