Resurgent Bournemouth face Liverpool in Sunday afternoon's late game with the Cherries seeking revenge for their 3-1 defeat at Anfield earlier in the season. After struggling initially under new manager Javier Iraola, Bournemouth have found their feet and have been one of the form teams in the Premier League over the last few months, moving out of the relegation zone up to 12th place in the table. Goals from ex-Chelsea and Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke have played a major part in their vast improvement in this period. They will have to overcome a dismal record against Liverpool, in 21 games against the Reds, Bournemouth have won just two although both of those did come at the Vitality Stadium. A 4-3 win in December 2016 and a 1-0 win in this fixture last season. 

League leaders Liverpool travel to the south coast without a number of key men. Both full backs, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are injured, as are Thiago and Joel Matip, while Wataru Endo and Mohamed Salah are away on international duty for the foreseeable future. That could mean another start at full back for Conor Bradley, who filled in at right back in their EFL Cup win over Fulham. The Reds won 2-1 at the Vitality in the Carabao Cup earlier this season, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez scoring, and they will take confidence from that. With Manchester City now breathing down their neck in the league, the visitors cannot afford to slip up and drop points here.
