Everton continue their battle to avoid relegation from the Premier League. The Toffees begin the weekend in 16th place and travel to Bournemouth who are three spots above them. It seems to be a never-ending battle for Everton to stay in the top flight. Everton get into trouble, narrowly survive and say they won't get into such a situation again, but they do. They are currently four points above the bottom three but there is the fear of more points being deducted. Just as worrying is their current form which has seen them go 11 league games without a victory. Their last win in the Premier League was at Burnley in December 2023. A form guide for the last ten league games has them in 19th place with only five points. On the road, Everton have won five league fixtures but only two points have been earned from the last six. All a bit disappointing considering five of the previous six had been won. Just one goal has been scored in the last five on the road.

Not a great scoring record for Everton and they need to repeat the home form that has seen both teams score in four of the last five at Goodison Park. They have a great chance of doing that against a Bournemouth side that has conceded 52 league goals this season. The Cherries are only three places above the visitors but there's a ten point gap. Bournemouth have only lost to Manchester City in their last five league games. Fans are probably still getting over the last match that saw them come back from 3-0 down at home to Luton to win 4-3. Sheffield United also scored twice at Bournemouth earlier this month and we go for both teams to score in this game.
