If at the start of the season you took a look at this fixture, you'd be imagining it'd be Bournemouth desperate for points to avoid relegation up against title chasing defending champions Chelsea. What do we get instead? We have 13th placed Bournemouth up against Chelsea who are 10th and a win for the south coast side takes them level on points with the Londoners. Definitely nowhere near what we imagined. Bournemouth's achievements this season have been overshadowed by Leicester topping the table but make no mistake, the Cherries surviving and not having any relegation worries for a while now is a great achievement. Having said that though it's a good job they had a great start to 2016 because they have lost three of their last four games but they have been against in-form Spurs, Manchester City and Liverpool so that's probably to be expected. The other three of their last six league games have seen wins over Newcastle, Swansea and Aston Villa.  Next season they need to get stronger at home, they have lost four of their last six on home territory. Chelsea won't be playing in Europe next season so their new Italian boss can concentrate on the Premier League. That long run without a Premier League defeat since Hiddinck took over ended with defeat at Swansea and was swiftly followed by a heavy home defeat by Manchester City. Chelsea had won five of their last six away league games before that loss to Swansea and I think they can get back in winning ways with an away win here getting revenge for that shock home defeat to Bournemouth earlier in the season.
