Both these teams are in the bottom half of the Premier League but over 10 points above the bottom three. All they seem to have left for the season is inconsistency and hopefully enough points to keep them out of a relegation battle. Bournemouth were in the top six earlier in the season but after a run of two wins in 12 games have slid to 12th in the Premier League and out of the Carabao Cup. They had been struggling for goals before the 3-3 home draw with Watford and have conceded 12 goals in their last three matches. Heaven knows what will happen if Eddie Howe ever becomes manager of England. Bournemouth did beat Brighton and Hove Albion at home a few weeks ago but will make lots of changes for this match, all a bit puzzling as the FA Cup is their only chance of winning anything this season.

Brighton and Hove Albion are a place and a point below Bournemouth in the Premier League. They should have gone above them on Wednesday but blew a 2-0 lead at West Ham to draw 2-2. Only one of their last five games have been won and only two of their last 11 away games have been won and both were against teams in the bottom six of the Premier League. They struggle to keep clean sheets on their travels and the tip here is to go for over 2.5 goals to be scored.
