Bournemouth vs Arsenal Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by James | in FA Cup Predictions
Two Premier League sides will battle one another in the FA Cup on Monday when Bournemouth host Arsenal at Dean Court. The fourth round fixture pits a team battling the immediate threat of relegation against one trying to climb out of mediocre depths. The Cherries have had an extremely testing campaign. Long-serving boss and club legend Eddie Howe has never been under as much pressure. A 3-1 win over Brighton last weekend let out some air but Bournemouth remain 18th, albeit only on goal difference. It will encourage fans to see their strikers find the back of the net again. Callum Wilson's goal was his first in the league since September while this win saw Bournemouth score more than one goal for the first time in the league since November.
Arsenal are higher up the table than Bournemouth but it could be argued that they are enduring a worse season relative to their size and expectations. They have shown signs of improvement since Mikel Arteta has taken over, it's true. Their midweek game against Chelsea had rather typical Arsenal errors initially but these weren't followed by the capitulation we've come to subsequently expect. They are a work in progress. Even so, tenth in the table is a major disappointment and they're one poor result away from falling as low as 14th. The Gunners don't have a great record at Bournemouth (winning one of their last three matches there) but should have enough quality to beat a Bournemouth defence that has been unlocked at will this season. Recent performances on the road suggest that Arsenal are due an away win. Back The Gunners to win.

Our Bournemouth vs Arsenal Prediction
If it wasn't for a string of individual errors, Arsenaal would almost certainly have picked up more wins over the last five games. Even with those errors occurring, they've managed to go five games unbeaten. That sequence has featured tougher trips than the one that they take on Monday night. Bournemouth received a boost at the weekend but we suspect it could be something of a false dawn. Back Arsenal to book their progress with a victory here.
