Borussia Dortmund are looking to stabilize their season, and next up in Bundesliga, they’ll be hosting Wolfsburg. A point and a place in the standings separate these teams, Wolfsburg sixth and Dortmund seventh on eight points. Dortmund have been somewhat shaky this season and they took their first defeat in midweek. Their trip to Paris to face PSG in the Champions League returned a 2-0 loss. For the first time this season they were completely shut out and they come here with one win in four matches. Dortmund came from 2-1 down in their last league game, to beat Freiburg 4-2. This will be a chance to extend their unbeaten Bundesliga run, which stands at 12. They have seven wins in those 12 matches but the last five have just one clean sheet. Three of their last five league matches have had over 2.5 goals.

Wolfsburg had no midweek action and will be seeking to build on their 2-1 win over Union Berlin. Previously, they’ve lost heavily in this fixture and that is one area they will be keen to improve on. In the last meeting with Dortmund, they suffered a 6-0 defeat. However, they come here with four wins in five matches and will hope it gives them the needed confidence. In each of those four wins they’ve scored at least two goals. Four of their last five matches have also produced over 2.5 goals with Wolfsburg scoring in each of the five. Their two clean sheets in the five matches came in their opening two games; the last three have none. Jonas Wind has been their star player so far, with six goals in five matches. In the last game, he was also on target, scoring the opener after 12 minutes.
