Borussia Dortmund vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Both of these teams had excellent first halves of the season but have struggled in 2019. Borussia Dortmund have seen their points lead at the top of the Bundesliga wiped out, while Tottenham's Premier League title challenge is all but over. Dortmund have it all to do in the Champions League though, losing 3-0 at Wembley. They could have done with an away goal in the first leg and if Tottenham can score one on Tuesday, Dortmund will have to score five times in 90 minutes. Friday saw them lose 2-1 at Augsburg and they only lead Bayern Munich on goal difference now. Only one of their last seven league and cup games have been won and only twice in the last 14 have they kept a clean sheet.

Tottenham haven't won any of their three games since the first leg. They lost away to both Burnley and Chelsea and then drew 1-1 with Arsenal at the weekend. That could easily have been another loss if Arsenal hadn't missed a late penalty. Spurs are still third in the Premier League but 10 points off the top at time of writing (11 if Liverpool beat Everton on Sunday). Their away form in the Champions League is a worry with no wins in the last four but they have won at Dortmund previously in 2017 and won their last three games against the Germans. The tip here is for over 2.5 goals to be scored in what should be an open game as the home side try to get back into the tie.
