The Bundesliga is back and a win for second placed Borussia Dortmund on Saturday will take them to within a point of leaders Bayern Munich. They will be confident of getting three points against Schalke who are sixth in the table. Dortmund have won 15 of their 25 league games with only four games lost. They were in top form before the league was suspended with four straight wins conceding just one goal. Their European campaign may be over after losing to PSG, but they still have a chance of becoming German champions. They have the best home form in the Bundesliga with nine wins and three draws from their 12 matches. The goals have  been flowing with 41 scored in their 12 home league fixtures and just ten conceded. That's the most scored at home by any side in the Bundesliga and the least conceded. Their last four home league games have all ended in wins and by an aggregate of 15-1.

Schalke may be sixth and sitting in the final Europa League qualifying spot but that's all down to their impressive early season form. They were probably glad of a break, however sad the reasons for it may be. Their last ten league fixtures have produced just one win, with six draws and three losses. A form guide for the last ten league games has then down in 15th, earning 13 points less than their opponents. They have no wins in their last eight league and cup matches and just four points from their last seven Bundesliga games. Away form is mixed with four wins, four draws and four defeats but again early season form is responsible for the good side of that record. Schalke have no wins in their last six away league games and haven't even scored in the last four. A bet on a home win with Dortmund ahead at both half and full time is the suggested wager to make.
