Borussia Dortmund vs Bochum Prediction & Betting Tips - Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund look to bounce back from the 5-1 loss they suffered at Stuttgart last weekend. The Prussians are eighth in the Bundesliga and host Bochum who are down at 16th. Time for our match prediction.

Dortmund had earned seven points from their first three league games before that heavy loss at Stuttgart. The Black and Yellow have won both of their home league games this season with wins over Eintracht Frankfurt and Heidenheim.

They are now unbeaten in their last five home Bundesliga fixtures and scoring plenty of goals. 15 have come in their last four home league matches and they will be expecting more from this fixture.

Their last three home league games against Bochum have each seen them score three times. The last two have been won but in 2022, despite an Erling Haaland hat-trick they lost the match 4-3.

Bochum had to win the relegation play-off last season to stay in the Bundesliga. They occupy that play-off position again at present after earning just a single point from their first four games of the new season.

The Blues lost their first three league matches against Leipzig, Borussia Monchengladbach and Freiburg, leading in the latter. They finally got off the mark with a 2-2 home draw against Hosten Klein last weekend.

Bochum trailed and led in that game and conceded an 89th minute equalizer to deny them a first win. They had the worst away form in the Bundesliga last season and have already lost two this term.

Ten of their last 12 away league games have ended in defeat and they conceded more away goals than any other Bundesliga side last term. We tip Dortmund to win this match and lead at both half and full time.
