Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich Prediction & Betting Tips - Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund begin the weekend four points clear of Monchengladbach in second and defending champions Bayern Munich in third. They are the only side yet to taste defeat in the league this season with seven wins and three draws in their ten matches. Dortmund had been unbeaten in all competitions before their Champions League defeat at Atletico Madrid on Tuesday evening. That was a rare game without them scoring as Dortmund have scored 30 goals in the Bundesliga this season, seven more than any other team. Home form for Dortmund has seen them win their first four league games before an injury time penalty led to them being held 2-2 at home by Hertha Berlin. The previous four home league games saw Dortmund score 18 goals with five conceded and they have only one home loss in their last 15 league games played on home territory. 

Their opponents are used to being the ones clear at the top of the table but are only third at present and have only won two of their last five league matches. Their last league game saw them held 1-1 at home by Freiburg who equalized in the 89th minute, just nine minutes after Bayern had taken the lead. Recent defeats have been 2-0 away at Hertha Berlin and a 3-0 home loss to Borussia Monchengladbach. Despite their losses, Bayern have the best away record in the Bundesliga with four wins and that loss to Hertha Berlin.  They have scored at least twice in four of their five away games and have only lost two of their last 15 league games played away from home. This should be a great game and Dortmund will be desperate to get the win that will take them seven points clear of their rivals, though you sense they might be happy with a draw to maintain the current advantage. Go for over 2.5 goals to be scored in this match.
