Juventus had the biggest consolation to their season in beating Atalanta to win the Coppa Italia and will be hoping things work their way in the final round of Serie A to see them finish in the top four. A torrid league campaign sees Juventus go to the final day of the season outside the Champions League slots, in fifth place with 75 points ahead of their game away to 11th placed Bologna who have 41 points. Bologna are nine points above the relegation zone and their survival is assured though they won’t finish above their current placing. They go to this game winless in the last six Serie A matches, but with four draws, and only failed to score in losses to Atalanta and Genoa. Bologna will have to address their defensive issues, having conceded two goals or more in four of their last five matches. They have two wins in the last 10 Serie A matches but it has been a bit better at home with four wins in 10 league games.

Juventus are coming from a 2-1 win over Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final. That was their third straight win across all competitions and they’ll hope to win here as they push for a top four place. The earlier 3-0 loss to Milan put a big dent on their top four hopes and while they must win here, they can only hope Milan or Napoli stumble in their final day matches to make it to the top four. Juventus have one loss in their last seven matches and in Serie A action, they have six wins in 10. The two losses they have suffered in the last 10 Serie A matches have been against direct top four opponents – Milan and Atalanta. They should be able to handle Bologna though, a team they have beaten in each of the last 10 encounters and are unbeaten against in 19 meetings. The visitors have also had defensive issues this season; in their last 13 league matches, they have no clean sheet and they’ve managed just one in their last 15.
