Bologna vs Juventus Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Seventh place Juventus will look to get their season back on track as they take on mid-table Bologna on matchday 18 of the Serie A. The visitors have endured a difficult campaign under returning manager Massimiliano Allegri’s second-stint with the legendary Italian club. The Old Lady are 12 points off leaders Inter and trail fourth place Napoli by eight points. They will have to start putting together a strong run of form if they want any chance of not only competing for the title, but securing a Champions League berth for next season. Bologna find themselves in 10th place with 24 points and trail Juve by four points. They will look to snap a two game losing skid in which they’ve conceded five goals, with their most recent a 2-1 loss away to Torino. Juventus are coming off a tough 1-1 draw away to Venezia, a match they will be disappointed to only earn a point as they had the much better chances. 

The home side, despite scoring four goals in their last three matches, have only created two clear cut chances in those games. They might struggle against a tough Juventus defense who has seen an uptick in their defensive form, keeping clean sheets in three of their last four.  The visitors are struggling with some injuries to key players, most notably Dybala, who had to be subbed off after just 17 minutes in the 1-1 draw against Venezia. Despite the injuries, Juve should still have enough about them to get a result here against Bologna.
