Bolivia vs Venezuela Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Daniel Ngulu | in World Cup Predictions
The 2022 World Cup qualifiers in South America are set to resume after cancelation back in March due to rising cases of Covid-19 in the region. Among the matches lined up in Round 5, Bolivia will be hosting Venezuela in La Paz with both nations seeking to stabilize their runs. Bolivia have no win so far, with just one point gained and are placed bottom of the 10-team table. A win here will see them leap over Venezuela who have three points, in eighth place. A lot of improvement is needed for Bolivia to get there, as they have lost all of their last three meetings with Venezuela, conceding at least three goals in each of these losses. They also have no win in their last six matches, losing five and drawing one. In their last five matches, both sides have scored and each of their last 12 matches has realized over 2.5 goals. Bolivia’s only win in 19 matches came against Haiti in a 2019 friendly match.
Whereas Bolivia had two friendly matches in March, Venezuela haven’t played an official game since their last World Cup qualification game against Chile in November 2020. They will go to this game as favorites despite playing away from home, and facing the bottom placed side should give them hope of a second win in the qualifiers. They beat Chile in their last game, which is their only win in the qualifiers after three straight losses at the start of the campaign. Venezuela have had massive improvement after their opening 3-0 loss to Colombia. They’ve not conceded more than a goal in the three matches that have come after that but will hope they can get a first clean sheet here, having failed in the last five. Venezuela have lost their last two away matches, but those were against much stronger opponents – Brazil and Colombia. Before then they had gone on a run of five away matches without a loss.

Our Bolivia vs Venezuela Prediction
Bolivia’s run hasn’t been the best and even as they play at home, odds will be stacked heavily against them winning. They’ve managed just one win in their last 19 matches and their recent meetings with Venezuela haven’t produced the best results for the home team. Whereas they’ve scored in each of their last five matches, they’ve won none and we are backing Venezuela to beat them here too.
