Bodo/Glimt are looking to return to winning ways when they welcome Odd at the Aspmyra Stadium on Friday. Going into the 16th round match in the Eliteserien, Bodo/Glimt are top and Odd second from bottom. As most predictions would indicate, Bodo/Glimt are favorites here, but let’s have a look at the stats.

In one of the last round’s shock results, Bodo were served a 2-1 away defeat by bottom-placed Sandefjord. Patrick Berg scored his fifth goal of the campaign, but that would only be a consolation. The loss ended a run of three straight wins and a five-game undefeated streak for the league leaders.

It was only Bodo’s second loss of the season in the league. For a side that has the most wins so far, the hosts will be confident of bouncing back here. They also have the best attack and meanest defence in the league so there's no need to sound the alarm bells.

As for Odd, it hasn’t been a great run in the season thus far. They’ve managed just three wins from their opening 15 league matches. A 2-1 loss to HamKam in their last outing was Odd’s seventh of the season in Eliteserien and it is already looking bleak for the visitors.

They are just a point above bottom spot. In their current form, Odd would not have wished to face such an opponent at this point in time. They are winless in the last four league games, and only managed one win in the last 11.

It hasn’t been great for them away from home either, as they carry into this game a run of five matches without a win. In three of those five matches, they failed to score. This form against the best defensive side in the league spells trouble for the visitors.
