Blackburn vs West Ham Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by | in FA Cup Predictions
Blackburn Rovers have a few problems in the Championship with their place in that league nowhere near confirmed for next season. They take a weekend off from those worries as they bid for an FA Cup quarter final place for the second time in three seasons by beating Premier League West Ham at home. So far Blackburn have had two away games against League Two sides Newport and Oxford so this is a considerably harder task. That's their only wins recently and a nine game winless run in the Championship has seen them drop to 19th and only five points above the bottom three, though they do have two games in hand. A worrying problem for them is the fact they have only scored three goals in their last nine league games and sold top striker Jordan Rhodes recently. They take on a West Ham side who did well to come back from 2-0 down at Norwich on Saturday and are seventh in the Premier League only outside the top six on goal difference. The Hammers beat Liverpool in the last round and Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers in Round Three. They have only lost two of their last 16 games in all competitions and will see this as a good opportunity to reach the last eight. I go for a West Ham win here.
