Blackburn vs QPR Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Blackburn Rovers need to repeat their FA Cup form in the Championship. They are 18th in the table and host Queen's Park Rangers who are down in 22nd place. Rovers have gone seven league games without a win but are still eight points above the drop zone. Their hopes of promotion are fading though with them now 11 points adrift of sixth place. They have been playing well in the FA Cup, all be it against lower league opposition. Last Monday saw them beat League Two Wrexham 4-1 at home to move into the fifth round of the competition. They do need to start getting some wins in the Championship though to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle. Only a couple of points have been earned from their last five league fixtures and just one of their last eight home Championship games won. A repeat of the reverse fixture against QPR would satisfy them as they won that 4-0 in October. 

QPR begin this weekend with only two teams below them in the table. They are three points from safety but have been showing some improvement in recent games. Four points have been earned in their last couple of league fixtures, both played at home. A 2-0 win over Millwall was followed by a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town. They needed a 95th minute equalizer to rescue a point in that match. Before those two games, they'd lost gone eight games without a win in all competitions. Away form has seen them win and draw three each but been beaten in eight league matches. 14 away league games have only produced 28 goals with just ten scored by QPR. A bet on under 2.5 goals is our suggested wager.
