Blackburn Rovers host Norwich City having picked up a useful point last weekend against Cardiff City. Rovers fans may be more pleased with the clean sheet, a rarity for the team this season, than the draw which means they lie 16th in the Championship at present. Since John Eustace took over from Jon-Dahl Tomasson, he has steered Blackburn two two draws and moved them up a couple of spots in the league. Both those draws came on the road too, against Preston and Cardiff City. At home, Rovers have been better of late, losing just one of their last six home games, winning three (albeit two coming in the FA Cup) and drawing the other two. Rovers can call on the top scorer in the Championship this season, winger Sammie Szmodics for this game. He scored twice when Blackburn ran out 3-1 winners over Norwich at Carrow Road back in November.

When these two teams last met David Wagner was under severe pressure as Norwich manager, which only intensified after their loss at home to Rovers. Since then, Norwich have been in much better form losing just four of their 18 games since and winning five of their last seven. Four of those wins though have come at Carrow Road as Norwich's away form hasn't been as strong as their home form of late with just one win in their last five away games. The Canaries have moved up the table though to stand 8th at present and they are now just three points off the playoff spots after 33 games. Their 50 goals conceded is the second highest in the top 15 teams of the Championship but their 58 goals scored is only bettered by the teams in the top four.
