Two Championship strugglers in Blackburn Rovers and Huddersfield will face off on Saturday, both seeking to kickstart their seasons. Hosts Blackburn are 10 points above the relegation region, facing a side just four points above the drop zone. Both these teams have had poor runs coming into this game. Blackburn suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion in their last game. That result made it nine matches in 10 that they conceded more than a goal. They’ve been so poor defensively that their attacking strengths haven't been put to great use. Blackburn have managed to score in seven of their last 10 matches, but only won two of those matches. Huddersfield Town have had more or less the same issues as Blackburn Rovers – good in attack but weak defensively. Their last outing was however an improvement of the earlier three, as they drew 1-1 with Plymouth Argyle. It was also the first time in four matches that they conceded less than two goals. In Huddersfield’s last 13 matches, they’ve managed just one clean sheet and their recent matches have also been high-scoring. Four of their last five outings have had over 2.5 goals. Away from home, in just the last three matches, they conceded 11 goals. they however failed to score in just two of their last six away matches. half of those returning over 2.5 goals.
