Birmingham vs QPR Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship
by Nella Wagah | in Championship Predictions
QPR are moving closer to the top six and their away game against Birmingham in the Championship will be crucial in that aspect. The two sides are having contrasting seasons so far, QPR seventh with 38 points and Birmingham 17th with 27 points. For Birmingham, this will be the second straight game against a promotion contender; they are coming from a 4-0 loss to third placed Blackburn Rovers. One area they will have to improve in is defence, having conceded nine goals in the last three matches. Birmingham have no win in their last three matches and go to this game with just one in seven. Their attack isn’t one of the best in the Championship as well; with 22 goals in 23 matches, they’ve only outscored four teams in the Championship.
QPR, on the other hand, returned to winning ways, with a 2-1 victory over Bristol City. That ended a run of two straight defeats and another win here could see them leap into the promotion playoff slots. They have two games in hand on the two teams ahead of them and this should be a good chance for them. In their last five matches, they’ve collected nine points from a possible 15, with three wins and two losses. Their away run in recent times has also been good, the team having avoided defeat in the last four, winning three. They however have just one clean sheet in the last five away matches. QPR, who have just one loss in the last five meetings with Birmingham, will be targeting a double over their hosts, having already beaten them 2-0 in September.

Our Birmingham vs QPR Prediction
QPR are back to winning ways and they have a much better run compared to Birmingham. As they seek to rise to the top six, this remains a key game in their chase for promotion. Birmingham do not have a very encouraging run ahead of this game, having collected just five points from a possible 15 in the last five matches. Going by recent form, we will back QPR to win here.
