Chelsea kept their place at the top of the Women's Super League with a win over Manchester United last weekend. They stay a point clear of Manchester City and are the only unbeaten team in the league. It was a tough game last week with the winner coming from a 65th minute penalty. That was their fourth straight league win with only two goals conceded in those matches. Chelsea are the joint top league scorers and only conceded three goals in total. Away from home, Chelsea have seven points from their three league games. Wins have come against Bristol City and West Ham with seven goals scored in those games. With eight away goals, they have the best scoring record in the league.

Birmingham City are tenth in the table and have only won one of their five league games. They are two points above bottom of the table Liverpool (not quite emulating their male counterparts) but with a game in hand. Goals have been in short supply though with just two scored but eight have been conceded. Their only win came against Liverpool with a 2-0 home victory. Their other four league games have all been lost. This is only their third home league game of the season, the other being a 1-0 loss to Everton. Both Brighton and Manchester City have put three goals past Birmingham this season. That doesn't bode well for this game and the tip is for an away victory.
