Turkish giants Besiktas recovered from their loss in the Champions League with a 3-2 win over Antalyaspor and will be out to hold onto their top spot in Super Lig when they host Adana Demirspor. Their weekend win was the fourth in five matches and going to this game they are on 13 points at the top of the league. Meanwhile Adana are 15th with five points. Besiktas are unbeaten in six league matches, winning five and keeping four clean sheets. Antalyaspor became the first team to score against Besiktas this season. Besiktas have scored three goals in three of their five league matches this season and Michy Batshuayi has scored three in the last two league matches. At home, they have three wins in three league matches this season and in the last 12 home league matches, they have one loss and nine wins.

Adana on the other hand, are just coming from their opening win of the season, beating Rizespor 3-1. It was a third game in five that both sides have scored in Adana’s matches, while they have failed to score in two of the five and have no clean sheet at all in the five. Adana are lightweights, compared to Besiktas; they are just returning to the league after relegation in 1995. The last time they faced Besiktas in the league was in 1994. Away from home in the league, Adana have so far not registered a win, drawing one and losing the other in the two matches they’ve played.
